Time Well Spent in Uganda: Volunteer Duration
At Umucho Foundation, we understand the value of your time and commitment. We invite volunteers to immerse themselves in the Ugandan experience for a minimum of 28 days, ensuring a truly rewarding and impactful stay. Even if your schedule allows only a week, we welcome you with open arms, handling shorter stays on a case-by-case basis.

Umucho Foundation’s Volunteering Program in Uganda is entirely free, with no program fees. While you handle accommodation costs, we can arrange transport based on the distance between our office and the field. To join the program, volunteers must be over 18, possess basic English skills, a passport with 6+ months validity, and commit a minimum of 4 weeks.
