Our journey unfolds in the breathtaking landscapes of southwestern Uganda, nestled beneath the majestic peaks of the Mufumbiro mountains. These towering beauties are part of the Albertine Rift Valley, bordering the western branch of the East African Rift and serving as the cherished habitat of rare mountain gorillas.
The establishment of Umucho Tours traces back to the founder’s humble beginnings in one of Uganda’s most densely populated areas. Richard, orphaned at a young age, found solace with his grandparents, who, despite their limited means, instilled in him the values that shaped the man he is today.
